Method;
Using Canva Pro, open a blank design and put whatever design you wish onto it. We did a cartoon tooth for the front and a cute little poem for the back and left a space for the name to be handwritten on. I think letting them write their name on there makes it more personal. Plus as they get older its a nice keep sake for the parent to keep, if your sentimental like me you want to keep everything haha!
Save this file as an SVG, you will need Canva Pro in order to do this step. If you don’t want to get Canva Pro, you can buy an already made SVG from Etsy. But trust me making your own SVG is so so easy!
Upload your SVG into the Cricut Design Space.
Load your heat transfer vinyl onto your Cricut mat. Don’t forget to mirror your image and place it shiny side down.
Once your Cricut has finished cutting all your different vinyl colours, carefully weed them out.
Using your canvas bag place your vinyl colours where you want them to be just to make sure you are happy with them. Put your first layer down and place the Teflon sheet over the top and glide the HTVRONT Mini Heat Press over where the vinyl is. Peel away the clear plastic and go ahead and repeat this for all the layers.
Place the Teflon sheet over once more and give it one last press to make sure all the layers are bonded together. Repeat on the other side.
Next time your kid loses their tooth they can now pop it in this gorgeous bag and wait to see what surprise is in there in the morning!
Until the next craft,
