How To Make A Sock Bunny Without Sewing.
Firstly, put your sock into a cup and fold the sock over the edge of the glass. This will hold your sock open so that you can easily pour your rice in.
Start pouring your rice into the sock. Measure with your heart because all socks are different sizes. Make your sock bunny as nig or small as you wish.
When you happy with your rice pour, take the folded over edges of the sock and pull the sock out of your cup.
Twist the top of your sock to close the rice in and take an elastic band to secure it there.
Taking your thumb and index finger squeeze the sock about 1/3 of the way down, this will be the sock bunny’s head. Again, secure this with an elastic band.
Cut a small length of ribbon off and tie this around the top of the bunny’s head and around its neck. This will hide the elastic bands you placed before.
Using scissors cut off the top of the sock, this is where you will determine the length of your bunny’s ears. We wanted more of a floppy look. Trim the ears in a curve towards the point to make them more realistic.
Take a pen and draw cute bunny features onto the sock. We used some peach blush we had from a Morphe palette to give her rosy cheeks.
Hot glue a white pompom for a tail on the lower back of the bunny. It will also help balance the bunny.
Using our bow making technique, we created a double bow and hot glued it to the neck slightly off centered.
And if you are feeling super fancy add a cute flower to the bunnies head!
