Well first we will need to gather our supplies to make the handmade card!
Supplies you will need;
How To Make Handmade Card For Mother
Gather all of your supplies to make your handmade mothers day card and pop it all to one side.
Fold a piece of cardstock in half and cut a piece of plain white A4 paper slightly smaller. So it looks similar to the picture above.
The cardstock showing slightly around the edges gives it a nice coloured boarder.
Taking a glue stick, glue them together and leave to dry for 5 mins.
Grab a green sharpie draw lines that cross. Don’t stress about how many to do just make the top lines slightly longer than the bottom.
It’s time to cut out your heart flowers!
Use cardstock in various colors and fold them in half.
Draw half a heart on the folded part and carefully cut around it.
Open them up to reveal perfectly symmetrical love hearts!
Start doodling onto your love hearts with an Artline, we used 0.6mm in black and it worked perfectly.
Make each love heart doodle different to the next.
Polka dot, swirls, stitching, lines and even more!
The beauty of making a handmade Mother’s Day card is that imperfections are what makes them beautiful!
I stuffed up a few hearts but that is absolutely fine it gives them character!
I cut foam mounting square in half and for the smaller hearts into quarters.
Then adhered them to the backside of the heart.
Press the heart onto the top side of the card in any way you want!
Add as many or as little as you think it needs.
Cut a length of Metallic Silver Twine.
Using our How To Tie A Bow With Ribbon Tutorial
We tied the bow out of metallic twine the same way.
Popped another half of a square of foam mounting pad onto one side of the ribbon and stick it to the part where all the green stems overlapped.
Now look how gorgeous this handmade mothers day card is!!
Any Mom would love to receive this Mother’s Day Card!!
