HTVRONT Auto Heat Press
The HTVRONT Auto Heat Press comes in one size 15” x 15”. That is some good sized plates! There is nothing that I have seen currently on the market that is this size and looks this neat. To get a heat press this size would normally cost you in excess of $1,000 AUD, and I can tell you now most of them are a bit of an eye sore.
Compared to a very attractive $459AUD, I think this is actually a very reasonable price point.
Upon first impressions of the HTVRONT AHP, it is very aesthetically pleasing, sleek, curvaceous and looks so good on my work bench in my craft room. There is no unsightly pieces of miss match metal or weird looking arms poking out. I know you are probably thinking well looks aren’t everything. Yes, correct they are not but when your craft room is a bit matchy matchy it helps when it looks this good haha!
How to use the Auto Heat Press
This auto heat press is really just as simple as plug in and play, its as easy as pressing the on button and it instantly starts to warm up its dual zone heating plate. You can see the temperature rising (and also beeps) to the set temperature. It has a light up digital screen that displays the set temperature and timing.
To set the temperature you just press the temperature button on the left and then decrease or increase with the plus and minus buttons on the right, The timer button works in the same fashion.
If you want to manually start the press after you have the time and temperature set.
- You first open the drawer,
- Place your garment in,
- Apply your vinyl
- Cover with Teflon sheet
- Close the drawer
- Select the HTVRONT branded start
- The press will apply the pressure
- The automatic lifting structure will lift
- You can then pull the drawer out!
There are three more buttons below the digital light up screen. They are going from left to right, Mode, Custom and Auto.
Modes;
You can pre set 4 separate modes, it will save this in its memory. So if you are regularly pressing the same materials and blanks you can set the temperature and time to suit and it saves it for you. That is pretty cool!
Custom;
Use this button to customise the mode settings.
Auto
If this button is pressed on it will display the same picture as the button on the light up digital screen. This means when you have your temperature and time set all you have to do is close the drawer. As soon as the drawer closes fully the press will start to do its thang! I love this feature its so easy and convenient!
The auto heat press comes with in depth but easy to understand instructions to help you navigate the digital screen.

Would an auto heat press be suitable for me?
To conclude there option is totally up to you. But you have to look at it this way.
If you are a seasonal crafter who does small pieces of heat press such as school bags or teddy bags, no this press is not for you. Instead the correct press for you would be the HTVRONT Mini Press which comes in at $49AUD. This press is perfect for those hard to reach places and small projects. I do however think for this reason everyone who has an auto heat press should also consider a mini press. I say this because if you are making shirts it would be handy to have one of these to do transfers on pockets. You could even put branding on the inside as a label.
Lastly the auto heat press it perfect for a crafter who likes to do T-shirts, Hoodies, Blankets and all your big items. The plate is very large so it achieves an even press so easily. Plus pushing down a clam shell style heat press isn’t easy after a couple of T-shirts it starts to take a lot of effort! So if you are someone that makes apparel for your business an auto press will not only save you your back but also save you so much time. It will actually save you money because of its even press and efficiency there will be less wasted materials!

Important tips for seamless heat pressing;
- Always press your blank first to get out the moisture, wrinkles and reduce your overal press time.
- Additionally check if the vinyl needs to be hot peel or cold peel – It will make all the difference with longevity of your finished product. And that peel will change from wincing too oh so satisfying!
- Always lint roll your garments to make sure they are hair and fluff free.
- Certainly be wary of your bottom plate getting to hot, after many presses as this can cause application problems.
- Another key point is to always give the glue time to set before washing a garment, the optimum time is 24 hours. This give the glue enough time to adhere to the fabric.
- Please be aware any heat press does get hot, so please be mindful!
- Press any button for an emergency stop.
- Basically always read the manual 😉
